Just when you think you're about to drown, someone throws a lifesaver. In this case, that someone was my whole branch of coworkers. Knowing my husband has brain surgery next week (DBS for Parkinson's) and I have to pay for hotel, gas, meals, etc. They made it so I no longer have to worry about the financial side of that. I can't believe I work with so many amazing people. I need to share this - not every workplace is toxic. Some are full of people who genuinely care and show it, especially when it's most needed.
