LOST - WATCHING AT 12 vs. WATCHING AT 18
So I just finished rewatching Lost all the way through, and boy has it been an experience. The first time I watched the series, I was 12, nearly 13, and completely obsessed; now I’m 18, nearly 19, and *again* completely obsessed.
*HOWEVER*
The series was absolutely different for me this time around. My opinions have changed drastically. I don’t have the same favorites I did before. Plus, and this is probably the biggest change of them all, I picked up on emotions and understood characters I’d never picked up on or understood as a pre-teen.
Basically, I feel like posting my favorites/opinions now vs then because I love this show to death and will take any opportunity to spew my love of it all over the Internet! So here it is - princess-onion-ring’s Lost favorites 2010 vs. 2016!!!:

FAVORITE CUTE GUY 2010: Boone 2016: Sawyer
FAVORITE CHICK CHARACTER 2010: Kate 2016: Juliet
LEAST FAVORITE CHICK CHARACTER 2010: Shannon 2016: Kate, probably (don’t hate me)
FAVORITE COUPLE/SHIP: 2010: Kate x Jack 2016: Kate x Sawyer (FIGHT ME, PUNK) (it’s nothing against Juliet, though - her and Sawyer were beautiful together, too and I honestly love her way more than Kate - Kate and Sawyer just work together sooooooo well ugh I’m DONE)
FAVORITE EPISODE: 2010: The Constant 2016: The Constant (Some things never change)
FAVORITE MALE CHARACTER: 2010: Ben Linus (I enjoyed his complexity) 2016: Hugo Reyes & also Desmond Hume
FAVORITE SCORE SONG: 2010: Dharmacide 2016: IDK - I love so many of them, but Charlie’s theme particularly stuck out to me this time around.
FAVORITE NON-SCORE SONG: 2010: Make Your Own Kind of Music by The Mamas and The Papas 2016: Delicate by Damien Rice
FAVORITE SEASON SIX REMEMBER-SEQUENCE THING: 2010: John Locke 2016: Charlie & Claire made me tear up way more than I expected :’)
THE MOMENT THAT ALWAYS MADE ME CRY: 2010: Boone’s death (I was a crazy fangirl of that dude for some reason) 2016: “The Moth”, when Charlie finally gave up the drugs, and when Sun and Jin died 😭😭😭
