We conducted peaceful bike patrols taking time to talk to people while stopping at stores and gas stations covering a 10 square mile area from Gunston and Gratiot to 8 Mile and Kelly. Project Peace Peddlers was founded by Army Veteran Travis Peters and birthed out of our Best for Vets program in partnership with the Detroit Police Departments Chief’s Neighborhood Liaison Unit, this project allows veterans to use our unique skill set to make the people in our neighborhood feel a little bit safer. #army #coastguard #marines #airforce #navy #DPD #detroiters #peacepeddlers #best4vets #military #veterans (at Detroit, Michigan)
