When your camping buddy is trained to alert (by sitting) to bear scat... I absolutely love that our CK9s never turn off, even after a long day in the field. CK9 Hiccup was scoping out the campsite while I was placing the finishing touches on my tent. I noticed the silence and looked up to see this kiddo sitting very quietly and expectantly. I walked over and there it was, a fresh pile of black bear poop a few meters from my setup. Needless to say he got his ball and I was very #bearaware! Not bad for his first working overnighter 👌#bestcampingbuddyever (at Adirondack Mountains)
