These are the best cookies ever, loved by our family for generations. The perfect combination of soft and chewy with the right amount of chocolatey goodness!
Ingredients: 1 cup unsalted butter, softened. 1 cup granulated sugar. 1 cup brown sugar, packed. 2 large eggs. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 3 cups all-purpose flour. 1 teaspoon baking soda. 1/2 teaspoon baking powder. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips. 1 cup chopped nuts walnuts or pecans, optional.
Instructions: Warm the oven up to 190C 375F. Mix the softened butter, white sugar, and brown sugar together in a large bowl until the mixture is smooth. Adding the eggs one at a time and mixing them in is the next step. Put the all-purpose flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a different bowl. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ones and mix them in until they are well mixed. If you want to use them, add the chopped nuts and chocolate chips in last. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto baking sheets that have not been greased. For 9 to 11 minutes, or until the edges are just beginning to turn golden, bake. Let the cookies cool for a few minutes on the baking sheets before moving them to wire racks to cool all the way. Have these tasty cookies with your friends and family.

Instructions: Preheat your oven to 375F 190C. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. In a separate large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, light brown sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, until well combined. Gradually add the dry ingredient mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Stir in the chocolate chips. Drop rounded tablespoons of cookie dough onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake in the preheated oven for about 9-11 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
