❝ maybe you should sit down. ❞ / for abby !!
Hands shook as she held the hammer in her hand and stood in front of Joel's place. She didn't know where else to go, much of the village didn't trust her. The patrol didn't work out well either. She had been left behind, her 'partner' decided to conveniently leave her and she was left to fight several infected on her own. So when she returned, on foot, she didn't even stop to talk to anyone. Instead, she just started to walk down the street as the rain-drenched her body, leaving her shivering and still breathing heavily.
She could have gone back to her place, but there was no one there for her. No friends, no family, nothing. In truth, she didn't even know why she came to Joel's place either; she doubted he wanted to see the likes of her. There were still questions on her mind about why he even brought her to Jackson City after all she had done.
No argument came from her lips, as she moved over to the chair he had her sit in. Her fingers still gripped the hammer for dear life as if wondering when the next person would attack her. "I had nowhere else to go," Abby finally spoke, staring forward questioning if perhaps it might be better just to leave.
