I'm intrigued by No Proposal

Congrats on spotting one of the Nicojack ideas! Essentially Jack has a hard time fiiguring out how to act when Nico's girlfriend tells Jack that Nico is going to propose to her soon.

“I’m going to get us some drinks, be right back.” Nico’s hand lingers on Jack’s back for a moment before he sets off. Isabelle looks after him, blinding smile in place the entire time. As much as Jack dislikes it, he really can’t blame her for it. He’d be smiling like that too if he had Nico all to himself. Isabelle is living the dream. At least she’s aware of it.

Jack is too caught up in his thoughts to understand when Isabelle suddenly speaks up. He blinks as he snaps back into reality, immediately getting met with Isabelle’s giggling. “Sorry, what?”

“I said I think he’s going to propose!”

Jack’s brain still isn’t cooperating. “Who’s going to propose?”

this is difficult but I think I'd prefer them winning a cup (or several) and continue to be gay in secret, my imagination (and your fanfics) are enough for me if it means I get to see our pookies win and be happy

“It’s fairly normal not to remember the incident itself,” the doctor reassures him. “But I need to run a few more tests before I can really say anything about your condition. Which words did I ask you to remember?”

“Uhm. Green, fish and chair.”

Something is ticked off on Dr. Farber’s clipboard. “Very good. How about the current date?”

“April 10th. Or is it already the 11th?”

The doctor purses his lips. “And the year?”

Nico sighs in resignation. He’s tired and his head hurts like hell. Hasn’t he proven that his brain is still working enough already? “Really?”

Dr. Farber just shrugs. “I know it seems dumb but it’s part of the test. You know the drill.”

“2019.”
