"W-who are you?" Marcie asked quietly, looking up at the stranger in front of her. She never had visitors, and she didn't recognize the other as another patient...Maybe they were new? Either way, she wondered what she'd done to warrant their attention.

Brandon was walking home from his latest babysitting gig, just as dusk was turning to dark. The lights on the street slowly faded on as the dark grew stronger and stronger - he sighed. He was tired. The children that he had just been working with were rambunctious and irritable, and the parents should have been home an hour ago. At least he had gotten paid.

His ears perked up as he heard what sounded like steam escaping from a kettle, getting louder, and louder. He snapped his neck up just in time to see a large plume of purple smoke shoot out of the sky and straight into his mouth.

And then everything went black.

As he picked himself up off the pavement, Erised dusted off his new outfit and felt all the nooks and crannies settling themselves in. Hmmmm. Brandon. Nice guy. Shame he won't be seen again.

Erised turned to continue down the street when he realized he wasn't alone. A dark haired woman stood a few lamps away. He recognized her as a demon, but not who she was.

"Hello dollface"

He said, smirking. Showing off his purple eyes.
