Finally, it’s time for the big news: I won Best Presentation in the Cleveland ConCoction 2019 Cosplay Contest!! Folks, you’ve all been fantastic this week: so many thanks to you all for being such fans of this cosplay! I loved making it and wearing it. Puddles is seriously one of my favorite performers, and I was so thrilled to translate my love into a cosplay tribute. I’m pretty proud of it; sure, there’s some bits that didn’t live up to the dream, but all in all I enjoyed it throughly. Enjoying what you do is something that will come through, no matter what it is that you do. Sincerely having a good time is the best way to get other people involved; after all, joy is something that increases the more that it is shared. When you love what you do, other people get excited about it because your happiness shines through... which makes being the saddest clown super hard. However, my smiles must not have cracked the surface too hard, because the judges decided to award me Best Presentation and I am simply blown away by that. Thank you so very much; I’m so glad you appreciated the work that went into it, and Puddles is a hard character to maintain when I’m having so much fun. Seriously, do you know how hard it is to be constantly sad? I have the greatest respect for Puddles - the fact that he never cracks when in character is amazing.
