Vernazza is a village of the 5 lands, in north west of Italy. The name five lands, comes from the five fisher villages on the coasts and what characterise them are the colours of the house and typical “architettura dipinta” style, unique in the world. The other four towns are: Monterosso, Corniglia, Manarola e Riomaggiore. No car traffic is allowed in Vernazza, as in most of the 5 lands, and it is no surprise: not even an old fiat 500 would fit on those narrow and winding roads!
