#Carrat was one of the first #vegimal characters I knew I wanted to create to be one of Pugtato's #bestspuddies in #PugtatoFindsAThing 🥕🐀 When I was creating the story, I toyed with the idea of having him as the 'baddie', but then I thought I didn't want to add to the bad image rats tend to be given in books and films. Rats are lovely, intelligent creatures! So in this book, Carrat is just a sweet little fella that likes to gnaw and chew on things 😊 Pretty relatable, I'd say. His design changed a bit from the first sketches I did, but overall he just ended up being a little cutie.
