Slave Chat: Building Your Self Confindence
There is an often quoted saying from John Warren- "The single most common question in BDSM is "How do I find a submissive?". Often i'll see posts like - "how do i find a Master", or "Why am i not good enough for anyone?" It makes me sad.
The fact is, people look for partners who are confident and self aware. You can't expect a Dominant (or submissive) to increase your confidence and self assurance. It's not fair, or reasonable, to expect someone to *fix* you. No one can get inside your head and flip a switch to make it stop. You have to do it yourself.
Personally, i'm a big fan of 'fake it til you make it'. Often times our whole outlook can change just by pushing forth the outlook we *want* to see. Small steps, such as making sure you're *put together* or doing something for another person can easily add up helping you increase your own confidence.
The next time you feel down, try focusing on the good. Here's some articles that may help you find your inner strength.
