I have this theory. Okay. Hear me out.
That Seungmin and Jisung are actually some of the most affectionate, cuddly members of the pack-but ONLY with each other.
Okay, listen.
Being a beta is hard. It’s hard in a different way than being an alpha or omega. And you’d never truly get it unless you were a beta yourself. So betas have to lean on each other for support, because the rest of the pack tries; they really do, but they just don’t get it like another beta does.
So. Seungmin and Jisung are constantly there for each other-they share a room, they have the same struggles when it comes to secondary gender-and their love language is so deep and unique.
In public, they’re teases-they goad each other-Jisung ribs and jostles Seungmin and Seungmin snaps back with dry humor and light insults, but really; every shove is a check in, an excuse to touch each other, just for a second, and every teasing quip is a hidden message of hey, I’ve got your back, I’m right here.
It’s all engineered to their different levels of comfort, because they know each other so well, and Jisung is touchy and loud and in other’s space and needs to be validated constantly-with words and touch-and Seungmin is almost the opposite-quiet and borderline aloof and embarrassed easily by open skinship.
So they’ve established this dance with one another, this teasing, ribbing, playful kind of fighting, but in reality, it’s a perfectly tuned, deeply complex love language all their own. 💜
