Hi! How are you doing today? Could you write the tell all in ‘Let the Feeling Grow’ from one of Freddie’s parents perspective? We got to see the aftermath in the story but I’d like to know what they were thinking. Also I just read the post where Freddie has magic and I love that idea so much!

Jer just couldn’t believe what she was seeing, what she was hearing. Because surely Freddie, her sweet little boy, wasn’t actually pregnant out of wedlock? Surely had hadn’t given his purity to Roger Taylor? They weren’t even in a relationship!

Certainly not, not her Freddie.

But the evidence was right there in front of her, and she couldn’t believe Roger’s audacity, couldn’t believe Freddie had been so terribly foolish. What was he thinking? How could he? How was she supposed to explain this to their neighbours, this would be so embarrassing.

“You should come home,” she told him firmly. “You should stay with us.” They could look after him, protect him. Roger clearly had no intention of taking responsibility, but Jer knew some lovely young men who would, Freddie had no shortage of admirers, it wouldn’t be too hard to-

But then Freddie started shouting at them, and Jer fell silent in shock. She’d never heard him sound so furious before. Not even over Dazmen.

And for once, she couldn’t help but listen.

On the Freddie pretending to be Beta verse, can we see the Bulsaras "congratulating him"?

Freddie held his breath, certain they’d take one look at him and know. But instead his parents smiled. Kashmira came closer and sniffed at him, looking curious.

“Congratulations, baby,” Jer said. She came over and hugged him, then cupped his face in her hands. “Are you feeling ill at all? Tired?”

“I’m okay, Mama,” Freddie said, weak with relief. Bomi nodded approvingly, patting him on the back.

“You smell more like Mama now,” Kash said.

“That’s because he’s a Beta like me, darling,” Jer said, tweaking Kashmira’s nose. 

“Oh.” Kash was evidently more interested in getting Freddie to play with her, tugging him towards her doll house. Freddie let her, gladly leaving their parents behind.

For a moment, he felt guilty when Jer offered to cook his favourite dinner “as a presenting treat, darling.” But he shook it off. If they knew he was an Omega, if they knew he was faking, there’d be hell to pay. He knew what they thought of Omegas. He knew how they thought they should be treated.

And Freddie wasn’t about to let them sign his life away at only thirteen years old.

So he turned to Jer and made himself smile. “Thank you, Mama.”

“I’m proud of you, baby,” Jer said, which was a shock in itself. No one in his family ever said that. 

You wouldn’t be if you knew, Freddie thought, and he turned back to his little sister.

Freddie's parents coming to visit after Michael has been dealt with and Roger and Freddie are King and Queen in the tdotg verse.

“Farrokh!” Jer gasped, her hands flying up to her mouth as she took in his appearance. Freddie had to bite back laughter at the sight, and held his head high.

He’d chosen this outfit on purpose. He’d picked the Valerian colours on purpose.

His eyes were outlined with shimmering silver and white make-up; his hair fell loose and uncovered to his shoulders, bound only by a circlet. His nails were painted a bright silver, and his sapphire earrings dangled past his jawline. His sky-blue shirt was backless, the loose sleeves were sheer, barely brushing his elbows, while the short train brushed his calves. His white pants clung to him, leaving little to the imagination. His bangles clinked together whenever he moved.

“It’s Freddie, actually,” he said. He gave his parents his sweetest smile, delighting in their scandalised looks. “You can address me by my name, or not at all. Frankly, I don’t care which.” His eyes narrowed as he turned away. “I seem to remember you were both very good at ignoring me.”

“Manners, child,” Bomi said sternly. “And- in God’s name, what are you wearing?”

“It’s clothing, Papa.”

“You’re not covered!”

“If you’re so concerned with my modesty, why did you send me to a country where my husband can order me to take my clothes off whenever he fancies?” Freddie demanded. Neither of them had an answer for him, avoiding his gaze. He couldn’t tell if they were blushing due to embarrassment of having their Omega son tell them off, anger, or genuine shame for never having known him.

He didn’t quite care either.

“You’ll excuse me,” Freddie said, giving them a nod of acknowledgment. His heart was pounding, and he reminded himself that he was Queen now, and they were a Prince and Princess. He was above them. They should have prepared themselves for this outcome.

He walked away, beckoning for Deacy to follow him, and didn’t look back.
