Booboo/Beta Noctowl

You know, I love Noctowl a lot, but I really feel like this guy’s a much better evolution to Hoothoot. I mean, a round owl evolving into an oval owl makes more sense than a round owl becoming a normal owl. And he even keeps the one leg! The only flaws about this design are that it’s a bit too plain, and looks a bit too much like Pidgey. But with a little bit of redesigning, this guy would become the perfect Hoothoot evolution.

I don't think it's too bad. It seems like a bigger Hoothoot in my opinion

So Noctowl’s beta form woulda been called ‘Booboo.’  Or I guess...Boubou.  Or something.  I appreciate that it looks more like Hoothoot than the final Noctowl does, but it also doesn’t look as good overall.  It looks like someone took a Pidgeot and made an inflatable bopper doll out of it.  It’s also harder to sell me on the constant-foot-switching Hoothoot gimmick when the foot is this bulky.
