It's been a looong time since we've streamed together! I've done my own solo streams but exclusively for Mabinogi which isn't really a Popkas game (and I'm not that good as a solo streamer) so I didn't post it here. So anyways, Josh and I are returning to Palworld, which we played when it was in early access but haven't been back to for a while. They've updated to 1.0, out of beta and supposedly complete, so we're going back in to see what's changed.

Since we're doing this co-op, my perspective is also viewable.

Streaming again! Haven't had as much time since returning to work after my vacation. Last time we streamed Pokemon Legends Z-A we thought we were near the end of the DLC content but they threw another survey points thing at us before we can find Mega Rayquaza. There's also still side quests and eternal royale stuff we haven't done. Join us!

Chances are high that I'll derail a little to talk about my personal Pokemon Yellow (3ds virtual console) run. The character designs I'm working on for it are maybe the most indulgently cringe thing I've ever done and you're allowed to make fun of me for it.

Streaming again! Last time, I got up to the final boss of Rayman 2 but it's a real rough boss. The goal tonight is to beat it, which is tough but won't take ALL night. So afterwards we're switching over to Pokemon Champions. Josh has played it a bit on his own since it came out but we've never streamed it. Join us and we'll nitpick it together!

It was my birthday a few days ago and we're doing a belated birthday stream! Apparently it's become vague tradition to do some kind of N64 game for my birthday. This time it's Rayman 2. I think the last time I played this must have been...25 years ago? Something like that. Josh has never played it, I think. Let's see how much I remember.

Streaming again! Last time we finished the storyline for the Pokemon Legends Z-A DLC, but there's still postgame content for both the DLC and base game. Depending on how often we get distracted we mmmiiiight end up clearing that content out tonight.

Also: I'm on vacation from work for at least 1 week, possibly up to 3 if no disasters happen that need me to go back in. So I want to start talking about picking up dropped projects, getting more art done, my progress on my personal Pokemon playthroughs, and other stuff. No guarantees on what I'll actually accomplish (aside from sleep, gonna get a lot of that) but if there's some specific thing I said I was gonna do and never did, go ahead and remind me. Or make something up and see if I can tell. Either is fine.

We're streaming! Last time we started into the Pokemon Legends Z-A postgame and dlc. I feel like we barely scratched the surface, so we're going back in. Since both the infinite royale and the hyperspace research require you to build points through regular gameplay, we'll probably have a lot of time to just chat about whatever. Or not...last time there were a ton of dialogue scenes where I suddenly had to read off girl dialogue in slightly different voices for like 4 characters in one room. It was kind funny. We'll just have to wait and see if that keeps happening. Join us!

Streaming! Okay so at the time we first streamed the main story content for Pokemon Legends: Z-A, I had been getting weirdly consistent work schedules so we were able to go week by week and get through it all relatively quick (for us). But then the holidays happened and we just didn't have any good times to stream for a while. We've since did some more informal streaming (Dokapon Kingdom, Hytale) but nothing really Popkas related.

Josh has seen most of the Z-A postgame and DLC but I haven't, except from occasionally watching him play or seeing people post about it online. Apparently there's actually a lot of real story content you don't get until the very end. So let's dig into it!

Streaming! This time it's Digimon Story Hacker's Memory again. We got derailed by Pokemon (as usual) but we did want to finish this one. Especially since the new game Time Stranger has been out for a bit now. I don't quite remember where we were last time, so we might spend the first few minutes trying to get ourselves back up to speed.

A lot of places aren't quite done with their black friday sales, so if there's any games people think we should pick up, let us know! I didn't grab anything from Steam this time, but maybe I didn't notice something people would want to see?

Streaming again! Last time we got through Jacinthe's tournament and ended before a rogue megas strategy meeting. I've seen a lot of screenshots of various characters from this game but I legitimately don't have a guess on who we're up against in the next ranked match. We're streaming again! Last time in Pokemon Legends Z-A we got involved with the mob but we don't know what they want yet. And it seems like every rank-up comes with a wacky side plot we have to solve for some new character, the last one we did took us into a sewer map. I kinda wish we got more proper dungeon-like maps in this game, hopefully there's more to come.

Every so often the side missions require us to train up a specific Pokemon to show them an evolved form or do a specific battle. I think I'm going to be a little more proactive about getting nicknames for those Pokemon. If you're good at names, or maybe just want us to name something after you, jump on in and tell us in chat.

We're back again! Last time in Pokemon Legends Z-A we had gotten into the meat of the plot, going after rogue mega evolutions and meeting some of the more distinct competitor trainers that sort of take the place of gym leaders in this game. I feel like we still haven't gotten to the point where they really explain what the game is actually about, though. It feels like we kinda know where the plot wants to lead us, but there's plenty of wide opportunities for them to subvert expectations.

A lot of our Pokemon are still unnamed so you can suggest nicknames. Or outfits. Our trainer has what's probably her 'final' true outfit but I would like to play around more with the clothing system.

We made a point of streaming again sooner, so join us! Our impressions of the game so far are fairly positive. Last time we got out of the handholding tutorial but not much further. We haven't explored the whole city, so hopefully we see a lot more tonight. OR: Josh gets completely sidetracked by scaffolding and/or shoe shopping. We'll see.
