Once more a million kudos to @re-dracula , this time for Lucy’s voice. There’s something in Beth Eyre’s pitch that balances perfectly between the presentation of dreamy innocence and a slightly dolorous girl who, while unaware that she’s a sacrificial lamb to the Narrative, speaks like someone as braced for a funeral shroud as a bridal veil.

If Mina is the stealth-classic goth of the tale, Lucy is the pastel goth who likens herself to one too many dead girls in her favorite plays.
