Are these Origami Animals Awesome? You Bet Giraffe they Are!
Animals are still probably the most popular thing to fold with origami. In this post we're going to take a look at a pretty diverse collection of different animals from all over the world.
First up is this incredible warthog folded from a single sheet of 50cm x 50cm yellow washi paper.

This next one is a much simpler design but it may just be the cutest little origami pig I've seen. It's folded from a simple fish base.

Here's one of the best bison designs out there. This one crazily enough is folded from a thin sheet of copper, not paper!

This is one of my all time favourite fox designs. The model can be found in the book Origami Omnibus but the instructions are very limited. So limited that I haven't managed to figure out how to fold it yet. One day...

This bear holding a paper crane is one of the most interesting origami designs I've seen. It's such a simple idea but the result is fantastic.

Here's a pretty adorable looking chipmunk. It's folded from two squares of paper and the colour changes in the design really look great. I'm not entirely sure what "butter cake" is but I definitely like the sound of that.

Beth Johnson's sheep design is awesome. It uses one sheet of paper for the body and then another sheet folded into a tessellation pattern for the wool.
