Artist Research - Beth Walrond

Beth is an Editorial Illustrator I have found who’s style I really enjoy, I particularly like her choice of colours and shapes which I find very appealing. Another aspect of her work that I like, is the textured effect she uses throughout her Illustrations which I personally feel gives her pieces more depth.

I am going reference the way Beth uses shapes in her work as an inspiration for my own, as I enjoy using shape and colour as strategetic as she does in hers.

This is a silly comic about when Beth Walrond and I went to Germany straight after all our deadlines. It was to walk the Harz Hexen Steig - the Harz Witches Trail. We were so tired and we got told we weren't going to make it to Osterode where the walk starts. Did we make it? If I get round to making another comic any time soon you'll find out.
