I have like, half an hour of work left to do on this stupid adventure for tomorrow. But my computer chair is uncomfortable and my eye is annoying me and I’m TIRED.
And the internet is distracting.
And I’m running out of 90s/early 00s britpop to listen to.
And most of this is bullshit and I’m 90% certain my players are going to do something idiotic and derail it all.
Can the LARP season be over please?
It’s a really good job that I am holed up in the back corner of this coffee shop on my laptop, as my ten minute break from plot writing just yeilded some hella smutty gif sets here on tumblr.
Oops.
Yay. Energy levels have just crashed. Car service was £355 so I have no money for the rest of the month. Work is dire. Still haven't finished adventure plan for the weekend and I really have no interest in it or the event I'm supposed to be playing next week.
Adventure finished and printed before midnight! Woo yeah!
Doing housework and working on LARP plot to 00s indie playlists. As much as I love pathfinder, I really can’t wait until I’m done with writing this adventure, cos then I have a break to get Beth stuff done, rather than writing lots of plot.
Next week is Empire and I’m still trying to decide if I want to go (I do, but I have a lot of house and sewing things to do as well)
At some point I might get to writing the next chapter of “Where we said we’d meet” as well as the rest of the jealous!Wedge/Luke fic that has been sat half written for ages.
I am longing for the days when I don’t have to write LARP plot and I don’t have boxes to unpack and I can just potter around at the weekends writing and sewing.
Unfortunately I have 80% of tomorrow’s plot left to write, so I probably ought to go and get on with that.
My players have taken some information and run with it in a way that has led them to some massively incorrect assumptions, which I'm now going to have to spend half an adventure telling them that they're wrong through the medium of npcs, while trying not to be too harsh on them. And I'm just, if they'd asked for clarification, it would have been so much simpler. (plus I have horrific period cramps and misery which are amplifying the fact that I'm at a really low point right now anyway which is killing any desire to write)
Currently loving how one person's ooc assumption and consequent action, along with another person acting mostly for shits and giggles is currently driving plot forward. (sort of, apart from where I'm having to firefight where something got said as part of an assumption which is massively incorrect, like, could not occur in game, but got into play and cannot be retconned)
