Ava needed an evening of fun. Of no worries. She was feeling a bit restless and she couldn’t put her finger on why. But, that’s how she’d ended up on her way towards Beth’s place. She had sent her a text earlier in the day, stating that she was planning on taking her out, no questions asked. She wore her hair down, curled over her shoulders. In a pair of skinny jeans, high heeled boots, and a black tank top, she was clearly ready for a good night out with her friend.

She knocked on the door, smirking a little to herself. She already had a bottle of Patron in her bag, in case they couldn’t find some mischief to get up to. A lady always had to be prepared, after all.

“I hope you’re ready,” she called, chuckling softly. “Because, I have big plans for us!”

A Little Dip || Damien & Beth

Damien was excited to spend some time with Beth. It had been way too long since the last time they had seen one another, after all. So, when the time came for her to come over, he gathered up some drinks and a couple of glasses. He grabbed some snacks, and made his way out to where the pull was, setting everything up at a table out there. He glanced at his phone, sending her text to come around back to the pool, when she got there.

Not one to be shy, and figuring Beth wouldn’t mind, he stripped down out of his shorts and jumped into the cool water himself, as he waited for his company to arrive.

Beth readjusted the large bag on her shoulder after putting the now full tupperware box inside, not noticing she wasn’t completely alone as she gathered some needed potion ingredients. It wasn’t until she heard the music playing that the brunette glances around and spots a person moving on the other side of the treeline. The witch decides to investigate and heads over, recognising the person skating along the ice once she reached the edge of it. She didn’t want to interrupt her or throw her off her concentration so decided to lean against the nearby tree and watch her until the song was over.

She was doing it.. Even though she had been practicing and training for this moment for months now, to actually be back on the ice again was..all-consuming. All of Evelyn’s senses felt alive, much like the time she had been turned into a siren, but at the same time wholly different. She may have been a mere human, but skating was her superpower and she was in her element. But Evelyn knew that she had to take it slow, to ease into things. But she could surely manage a double toe loop, couldn’t she? The skater angled her body in preparation for the jump, icy eyes cast over her shoulder as her body torqued into the movement. At the last minute though, her fear got the better of her, and the double turned into a single. A jump that she had mastered at the age of five. Dejected, Evelyn sighed, slowing to a stop as she noted that she wasn’t alone. “Oh! I’m sorry I didn’t see you before Beth, hi!” She smiled lightly, cheeks pink from cold, exertion..and embarrassment.

Beth gave her costume a once over before leaving her house and heading towards the schools party. She happily took a twix from the offering of the candies and began to munch on it before heading towards the bar. As soon as she finished she felt something change, her magic seemingly fading away to be replaced by a strange new hunger. She felt a little dizzy for a moment, one hand brushing against her cheek as the other held tightly onto the bar so she wouldn’t stumble. “What the-…?” She mumbled, head turning as she caught the smell of pheromones passing by, her mind automatically trying to justify it was just their perfume.

Gosh..this place never failed to confuse and amaze her. One moment you were having fun and eating candy and everything was fine, and the next, you were growing elf ears! Daisy had given up trying to make her wig fit right now, simply letting her own natural long red hair fall freely. Honestly, she could have gotten away with not wearing it anyway, but it was all part of the fun. Confused but certainly not upset, Daisy took a moment and just looked down at her body. She seemed taller, her skin more fair and flawless. And the magic! She could nearly feel it coursing through her, replacing that hollowness that she had lived with since coming to the island. Letting out a small laugh, she shook out her hair and went on a wander, seeing if she could find Lily or Dhani anywhere. Passing by Miss Beth, she paused when the woman spoke. “Oh, you too? What did you turn into?” She asked. It was almost like a game, really!
