Favorite Male Character: I go back and forth between Ron, Neville, and Harry, but I usually come back to Ron. (If you’ve only seen the movies, book!Ron is like a thousand times more nuanced and faceted and awesome than movie!Ron. Although I do love Rupert Grint, too.)

Favorite Female Character: It’s a three-way tie between Luna, Molly Weasley, and McGonagall.

Least Favorite Character: Umbridge.

Favorite Ship: I’m not really a big HP shipper (I wasn’t part of the online fandom or all the shipper wars when the books were new), but I do like Ron/Hermione.

Favorite Friendship: the Golden Trio.

Favorite Quote:

Worst Character Death (if any): Oh gosh, they’re all kind of awful, but the ones that probably hit me the worst were Lupin and Tonks, because at the time I read the books I had a newborn and the idea that Teddy had been orphaned hit me really hard.

‘This made me so happy you have no idea’ moment: Hermione slugging Draco. Dobby finding the sock stuck in the book. Hermione, in response to Harry saying smugly, “But I am the Chosen One,” smacking him over the head with some rolled-up papers. Helena Bonham Carter playing Hermione pretending to be Bellatrix. 

Saddest Moment: When Fred died. Dobby’s funeral.

Favorite Location: Luna’s bedroom.

First a Question: Will they even pick it up? Secondly? My artificial tree is packaged by sitting on my floor b/c I have to climb 2 stairs with it and not sure I can tackle it on my own. ;o|

1: They put it out on Wednesday and it's already gone! Not sure if the city took it or other people I saw driving around looking for trees back when everyone else put them out.

2: But your tree is down and packaged! That's different! I've had stuff sit in boxes in a corner for a while because I was too lazy to take them down to the basement.

OMG! How did your house not burn down? I couldn't deal with the needles for that long either. My tree has been down since early January and I still find needles!

Haha! It looks a lot better in the picture. In reality it was super dry and sad looking. Not brown though, so that's pretty good.

You do, and it is! If you ever visit Omaha I'll take you on an Attachments tour of places in the book--heck, I'll get Rainbow to take us on a Attachments tour. ;-)

I asked you because you were friends and had in depth knowledge. I have Eleanor in Park on my Kindle... But this helps a lot. Thanks! 

I was pretty sure you knew that, I just couldn't remember for sure. :-) E&P might actually be a good book to start with because it probably has the least happy ending--not a sad ending, exactly, but bittersweet for sure. The other three books all have more-or-less happy endings, though all of Rainbow's books end in a way that makes it feel like the story definitely goes on after you stop reading. You know?

I haven't read Eleanor & Park yet but it's on my list!!! I Fangirl and Attachments are my favorites but I really feel like that's because I'm at a time in my life where I can relate to those characters more.

Oh, I hope you get the chance to read E&P soon! It's REALLY good. If you liked Fangirl and Attachments, which are pretty different books, I feel certain you'll like E&P too.
