The past is generally a good indicator for where someone is headed. If you always do the same things, you will usually get a similar result, if all other factors are taken in to consideration. The future is mostly an unknown entity, the only influence you can really have is by changing yourself & your circumstances to manifest a result you might think you want. Even then 'fate', 'the world' & all the other annoying people will have some input on events. The people who I am fascinated by are the rare Unicorns that are truly living in the moment. These magical beings don't regret what has gone by, they accept they can't change it, they move on. They aren't anxious about the future, In fact they all seem to have a very positive expectation that it is going to be marvellous. They are seemingly totally at peace with themselves. It comes across in their shining eyes & confident swagger, the swines :) It's quite easy to resent these wonderful people, get wrapped up in jealousy or 'I could be like that that if only...' Usually these people are more than happy to give you advice or a helping hand & are often totally selfless expecting nothing in return. That is why they are Unicorns, they really are few & far between.
