Val wasn't paying attention as Velvette ranted away. He was too busy scrolling on his phone, laughing at message the Angel sent. Sure they didn't get on at the best of times but now and then Angel would send him a video of an animal being silly.

"Look at the cat, it's kneading dough." He said turning his phone around and showing her the video.

"So this staff of yours is quite special you say? It amplifies our power? How absurd! How fascinating..." The young brunette would curiously trace his slender fingers over his other self's mic staff. Quite the interesting rod, he had to admit. It looked just like one of his own mics back at the station. How odd.

"I knew our partnership with Miss Rosie would take us places, but never would I have imagined us being well...this. Not to say it's bothersome mind you! Well, the ears must've gotten a tad getting use too I can assume."

His gaze shifted away from hers,even walking around the room to avoid the conflict he had started. Before stoppiong to look diretly at her with a light glare. "I'm not taking all the credit Vel..We are a team--" He stopped at the mention of Valentino though. His arms crossing stubbornly. "Don't bring him up, he'll be fine. We are fine."

At least that's what he kept saying to himself knowing it was a lie. His screen glitched to show his own upset about the topic. "Come on Velvette i can reassure him like i was going to if you hadn't been there.." A low mutter on the last part slightly flustered but still annoyed. "You seem livid though." He noted carefully.
