Posted @withregram • @autismcareerpathways Please swipe! On Thursday April 28th at 3 pm PST/6 pm EST, Autism Career Pathways 501c3 will be hosting our very first live Instagram fundraising campaign. This year we are featuring the Better Community (BC) sensory inclusive business certification! Brandy Haberer @brandyhaberer @the.chronic.couple will co-host this Live IG event, with a special guest appearance, Julia Davis owner of @shopthebookworm a recent BC certified business in Georgia! This huge project was a labor of love from a team of neurodivergent professionals, parents, non-speaking advocates and business owners! We need funds to be able to expand our team to invite local businesses and organizations to become neurodivergent friendly establishments. Through BC certification process business owners can ask questions and create their own sustainable accommodations, and, show others how to be more inclusive! With funding, we can hire autistic individuals to reach out and guide businesses. We need autistic people who can provide a walkthrough and brainstorm ND friendly event ideas with certifying businesses. The certification process is meaningful to us and the businesses applying. 💓 It is not checking off a list, but rather, an opportunity to learn and grow. Donation link is on our profile ⬆️! You can also link you Amazon Smile to donate to ACP, link is above in Linktree link.. Follow Better Communication’s @bettercommunitycertified journey, making a difference in our community! Lastly, Alex @bigalsbest the autistic proud owner of Big Al’s Best sells his merchandise at a community shop! #bettercommunitycertified #goingaboveandbeyond #fundraising #inclusivitymatters #sensoryinclusive #autismcommunity #autisticcommunity #redwoodcityca #visitredwoodcity https://www.instagram.com/p/Cc1YsLwMrAB/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
