“What the hell is that?” Sion was focused up in the sky at the giant thing flying around and roaring. He hadn’t used the gun yet because he was far too nervous to but the blank he had found had definitely made contact with a few monsters. Some limping things that were snarling and in a hoard. Somehow he managed to outrun them, whack a few of them out of the way and escape. He knew he should be scared of what was flying above considering what was happening in this town but it was so cool. Could probably kill him in a second but the wings, the roar and the power it seemed to have. “Have you ever seen anything like that?” He looked over at the woman close by.

Yen needed to be careful a lot of old, dangerous habits were coming back around. The desire to cut everyone off, isolate herself to prevent herself from getting hurt. She watched the water, the horizon in the distance. Purple eyes scanning the world around her. She had thrown herself into work more, taken on more shifts but had been told to take a rest this afternoon. Her mind went back to the conversation with Will and the situation pissed her off all again. In her frustration the metal bar under her hand melted. “Dammit...” She looked up to see someone watching her. “I normally have this under control. Don’t worry it’ll get fixed.”

Event starter for @drvcxrys​ (Peter & Beverly)

Peter took a deep breath as he stepped off the gangplank onto the deck of the ship. There was a slight step down so he held his hand out to Beverly. He had been more than happy to take her. It wouldn’t be like him to say no to a beautiful woman. Plus he did just enjoy her company. He smiled at her. “You ready for this?” He glanced around at the people beginning to gather. 

In high school he’d avoid events like this. Not fond of crowds and especially a ship. No way off if there was trouble. He adjusted his leather jacket. “What would you like to do first? We can explore the ship? Get a drink? Both?” He was curious about all this. Sort of ready to try new things like actually being social.
