Alfred Pennyworth: International Man of Mystery @100wednesday

"I think Alfred killed JFK." That was how Tim started a conversation with his younger brothers as Damian shut the car door.

"Um.. what?" Duke asked, having just settled into his seat.

"You heard me. I've been doing research, I'm fairly certain Alfred was in the area."

"He would've been, like, twelve, Timothy. And British." Damian was muttering from behind.

"Do we know that? We think he's seventy-something, but we don't know!"

"Tim, I love ya, but what?!"

"Just- the spy to butler pipeline doesn't seem all that common! What if he's still a spy?!"

"Come back after some sleep."

Don't Feed It After Midnight. @100wednesday

When Tim slunk in from a long day of W.E. bullshit, wishing a quiet night in with his boyfriend, maybe playing video games.. he wasn't expecting to see this scene in his living room.

"Great, you fed it," Tim muttered, passing his youngest brother, "now it'll never leave."

Bernard chuckled, Damian was stuffing his face with Spaghetti. Tim sighed, shrugging off his jacket.

"Why is the demon even here, Bee?"

"I dunno, looked hungry."

Tim sometimes wished Bruce was right and Bernard would just become a rogue because he couldn't take this niceness sometimes.

"Alright," Tim started, "what's up, Dami?"

"Normal" @100wednesday

"Hey, what was your childhood like?" An intern asked, looking over at Damian, who just looked up from his muffin, humming.

"Normal, I suppose."

"Really?" Dr. Oscar asked, Damian raised a brow. "I mean- your dad is Bruce Wayne!"

"See," Damian took a sip of his sugary coffee, "normal to my environment. I haven't always been the well adjusted man you see today."

"…I've seen you cry over a cat video in the on-call room."

"Exactly. A few years ago, I would've stabbed my brother. Progress."

"Did you say stab-?"

Damian watched him run, taking a bite of muffin.

Knowledge is Power

"You have a file on my boyfriend." Tim stated, standing in the doorway of the kitchen.

Bruce, who had been nursing his coffee, looked up.

"Of course, I have a file on each of my children's significant others."

"That's sweet, B, but Bernard's file is just you saying he's a possible future rogue and question marks." Tim explained.

"He's intelligent, most of our villains are very intelligent. Harvey was a respected lawyer!" Bruce argued, "and don't say 'well, we're close, he wouldn't be evil' because Harvey and I were hooking up every week."

"…I did not need to know that."

Why Do We Fall?

His late father's voice echoed around his brain as he watched his own son. His son that was obviously in pain.

No matter their differences, he'd always be there for his kids.

Kneeling beside his second eldest boy, Bruce spoke "Jason, why do we fall?"

"So we can learn to pick ourselves up.." Bruce smiled softly, the phase that transcended generations.

"Exactly. And we're here for you. You're never alone."

They were quiet for awhile, just sitting together. Eventually Alfred found them, laying a thin blanket over their sleeping figures—and if he got a picture, nobody had to know.

Babysitting the Devil (Spawn) @100wednesday

"I lost the child."

Okay, in retrospect, having Timothy look after Damian was not his brightest idea...in his defense, he'd been run ragged at work, only to work all night too... a few details had slipped by; he was desperate.

So, there they were, Dick in full Nightwing. Tim looking like a stressed first-time dad.

Tim was not incompetent, probably the opposite, but he was definitely not used to being Bat-Demon's Babysitter.

"Of course."

Dick sighed like a father of three, got his grappling hook out, and was off into the night; much like a bat they knew too well.

Jane Hopper: Woman of the '90s

Outside was freezing compared to the warmth of the apartment.

Jane shrugged her jacket off and threw it onto the armchair. Her phone was ringing loudly.

She rushed over, kicking her shoes off, felling onto the couch, grabbing the phone.

"Jane speaking," She asked, just like Hop had taught her. She recognized the next words as her brother's immediately.

"Hey Janie, you and Kali still coming to dinner tonight?"

"Yup! I just got the stuff for pudding, Joyce taught me how last week… Kali's making Mac and Cheese. She's still at work."

"Okay, good. I'll see you both at seven."

Send Me Flowers

One thing Marvin regretted most, it was such a silly thing, was that he never got Whizzer flowers during their first time around. He remembered him saying he wanted flowers, roses, but.. he was too full of himself. He's going to be better.

So, on a random Friday, on his way home, Marvin picked up some fresh red roses. And when he saw Whizzer sitting on the couch, doing some crossword thing from the Newspaper, Marvin put them in his lap. Whizzer looked at them, then to him with a smile. One of those soft, 'can't believe you remembered', smiles.
