“You enjoyin’ yourself tonight, sweetheart?” River’s voice was gentle, his words spoken right by her ear as he came behind her, his arms snaking around her waist. “Or you not finding anything fun to occupy yourself with while I work?” River smirked against her earlobe, pulling her body into his. The club was busy--like-minded people met there--or even people who were curious, ready to discover themselves--and River wanted to make sure they had an inviting environment around them, one where they played things safely. His patrons loved him--and they loved the club, things that kept him in business. “Or did you wear that tonight just to tease me?”

Teddy watched as the tent magically folded up in front of the pair, causing a smile to appear on his face. Magic never ceased to amaze him, even spending all this time with Ivy. “I guess you can’t do that with a house?” He asked with a grin before draping his arm over her shoulders and started to walk through the woods with Ivy, enjoying the feeling of the rain and listening to the thunder as it rumbled.

“I do care, Cass. If I didn’t I wouldn’t have brought you here.” Daniel spoke before frowning at her comment. “You were never a toy for me and I don’t appreciate you telling me I’m like those scumbags in the bar that use you.” He sighed before putting his half eaten plate of food onto the coffee table in front of him. “I am sorry for what happened that night, I wish I could do it over and take more safety precautions for you. I truly care about you Cass and I don’t want you going missing or getting hurt messing with the wrong people.”
