The anger dissipated, and he kicked off his shoes. "Yes, Granger."

Her lips twitched with another smile, and he didn't bother to undress as he slipped under the covers and pulled her to him, nestling his nose in her hair. She melted into him as she always had done, like it was instinct; her back against his chest and their legs tangled together.

A content hum left Hermione. "I love you."

And because she thought she was dreaming, and inconvenience is inevitable, he sighed and whispered those words back to her, unable to decide if it was a blessing or a curse that she probably wouldn't remember his reluctant confession come morning.

What are the rules for recording fanfic as an audiobook for free? Like AMP and Audiobook Warriors? I want to do Isolation. Fanfic audiobooks are such a life saver for me. Not all heroes wear capes. I’m tryna be a hero.

With all the book binding issues in the fandom I’m really trying to be respectful and not ruin fanfic for everyone. If this reaches any authors please give your honest opinion! If anyone knows how I could contact Bex-Chan and ask for permission please let me know.

Drumroll pleaaaaase...

Isolation! My largest bind to date, holy shit! A whopping 916 pages, which I had to end up splitting between two volumes. I learned a lot with this project, especially about my margins, signatures, paper weight, spine hollows...the construction of these books gave me a lot of great practice! I think I'll be sticking to max 500-600 pages on future books, simply because I don't think I can hand bind anything higher than that, with my chosen weight of printing paper. It makes the book chonkier, but the sacrifice is well worth it in my opinion, for the sake of making it feel closer to a professionally printed novel.

This was a fun fic to design; it was the perfect Christmas-time read, and I'm excited that this Christmas, I'll have a physical copy! Originally, I had wanted to do this in one volume, with the red paper on one side and the matching green paper on the other; so at least it worked out that I had matching papers when I needed to split it into two volumes. I chose the red and green for the Gryffindor and Slytherin connotations naturally, but the gold that threads through them both shows how strong their bond is as they grow with each other.

We've got plenty of imagery throughout, but bees were the main iconography. It's really the turning point in the book, and it makes for such a versatile image. I had fun playing with the title page, making it a two-page spread. Winter and Christmas are also two big points in the story, so elements of that are scattered throughout as well (like snowflakes, by the page numbers!)

All in all, a very fun project - we're nearing the last of my Binderary posts I promise! xD
