As spring begins to arrive, I am excited for the promise of the new season. Today's post is "In The Garden". It began as an abstract - that's what I wanted it to be. The canvas didn't agree. Paintings do that, you know. They tell you what they want. So I covered the paint with tulle, then created flowers from torn paper. The large flower petals are from a map that was printed in pink, blue, and white. I love how the streets and rivers add texture. Here's to the arrival of Spring!
