can i call a rp slow burn bc i want development and pain from a good marauders rp and like focusing on the ministry ?? and the social effects ?? is something that is never done

(sorry if i don’t make a lot of sense, i’m super sleepy)

i only play ocs or minor canons so i end up always developing those plots and i can say that i’ve had some very interesting small plots focusing on politics (international, and muggle - wizarding), economy, law-enforcement, and espionage. alas none of these plots lasted because the roleplays started focusing on shipping too much so everything else started getting neglected lmao 

like ... honestly i could write whole essays on this topic: the social, political, economic, and even entertainment (sports, radio, journalism, etc) aspect of the war.  the stories/world-building/dynamics p much writes themselves imo.... and there’s soooooooo much more potential conflict outside the whole pureblood or not thing. esp in the economical and political front (people usually neglect the economical aspect of the wizarding world a lot, never understood that? i mean lmao where do y’all think those rich families got their money from? even old money runs out). also... why do people only always seem to focus on order / death eater conflict???????? when the ministry and its officials?????? are right there?????????? but dont get me started on this one bc generally speaking i firmly believe that the ministry couldn't stand the order and 100% considered it a big problem (but ive been super fortunate in this regard bc usually the people i write against  - esp in 1x1 - share the same opinion).

roleplays that focus on such massive world building can’t survive on romance and shipping alone - no roleplay can, but especially these ones. people just need to care about other people’s plots and characters instead of just their own.... also i ... don’t think smth this detailed could survive with a lot of members bc stuff will just start getting neglected after a while (ironically, the more members a roleplay has the more room there is for that to happen). i think it’d work better as a small group/mumu where members play several characters and there’s primary and secondary characters? kind of like in video games where you have several plots going on (often at the same time, and which sometimes intertwine) and bounce back and forth between characters.
