Actually lowkey thankful Damian didnt show up in Metal Fury anime because if he did with a similar redemption to the manga them unfunny mfs would be making videos called sum shit like "how the menace of metal masters got nerfed" (effects of rearrangements wearing off) "they did damian so dirty" or some fuckin bullshit and call him a crybaby or sumn [im reffering to this]

because god forbid if a character shows emotion in this show theyre weak nerfed stupid and annoying. hooooooly shit. [P.s. i thought of this bcs i saw someone say sumn like "name a bigger downgrade in mfb than flame byxis being replaced with spiral fox and twisted tempo being replaced with spiral lyre" like the powerscaling makes you completely forget about the plot apparently. you wanted bro to stay as sephiroth forever? what the fuck]

I was rewatching Beyblade V Force episode 22 where Max loses his bitbeast. A lot of people try to use this example to consider Max to be the weaker bladebreaker. But if you watch this episode and the one before that carefully you will probably note that this was Max at one of his strongest up till this point. How you ask? Let's see:

1. Max's beyblade was already 40% down at the beginning of the battle after battling those robot shooters. In spite of that he beat Jim fair and square, not once but TWICE. And he was lethal both times. Essentially he won the sudden death round.

2. Jim had the unfair advantage of a bit beast repair system that made his bit beast as good as new, while both Max and Draciel were getting worn out with every battle.

3. Max destroyed the bitbeast repair system and removed the one thing that gave Team Psykick the unfair advantage over the Bladebreakers that they had. Max removed that disadvantage for his teammates and thus had to face the maximum brunt of it. They did not face that.

Max has some insane skill and power that is so underrated although arguably he has some of the most badass moments in the show. Even in the first season when he lost his bitbeast, he lost it protecting his friends and lost because he was battered by more than one of the Demolition Boys that ambushed him.

That moment in V Force when Max goes running back into a collapsing building to retrieve Draciel (after the Tyson vs Kane match) and Tyson is the only one who goes after him into that rubble. I love their friendship 💗

Also, I could be wrong but I've always got the feeling that Rei is the most aloof friend among the four. I know most of you will say that's Kai but Kai has shown extraordinary acts of friendship towards the others and Max and Tyson of course have. But with Rei I don't find major stand out moments of friendship with the others. Don't get me wrong guys, I absolutely LOVE Rei and think that he is one stabilizing force in a team full of people who are emotionally unstable in different ways. But I always get the feeling that Max, Tyson and Kai are much better friends with each other than with Rei and vice versa. Rei of course is gentle, polite, respectful and a team player to them but I find that bond missing. The bond that I see between Max and Tyson. Between Max and Kai. Even between Tyson and Kai. I see the other three have each other's backs a million times more than I see vis-a-vis Rei.
