Little doodle of Sarah Jordan from beyond d borders! Trying out a new set style (more like attempting too.) I'd love to draw one of Angie's movies in comic form one day (why? I'm not sure it just sounds like it could be fun)

Thank you @tatiplaytime for giving these pictures! 💖💞🌸😁 sweet! I really like this film a lot!
The lights went out during dinner (we are eating white rice and meat).
They explained to us how they share power with the hospital and that they might be performing surgery. We were all quiet and sat very still in the dark for a few moments until someone flicked on a lighter. I noticed thunder in the sky. I also heard it on the drive here. I always thought that thunder was impossible with no rain.
I went to my room first. I am exhausted. I am now in bed writing this under a mosquito net in room number 2.
I have discovered that all the cell phones don’t work in this area. I had been planning to call home or at least leave a message that I have arrived here and I am safe. - Angelina Jolie; Notes from my travel
😂 I am that idiot who would muse and think about this. I realized that the plot for Beyond Borders could have gone somewhat similar to Jolie's story and have something like this:
Dr. Nick Callahan gatecrashes Sarah's dad's party (who stopped sponsoring Nick’s camp). Sarah is moved by Dr. Callahan's speech and decides to join him (against her father's wishes) and worked temporarily as one of the relief volunteers instead. Dr. Callahan is reluctant to take her because he doubts her sincerity and sees her as an added problem. However, he thinks that having her would allow him to get more sponsorship from her father.
The story then revolves how Sarah adjusted from her life as a well-off Belle in London to becoming a full-time relief worker. Nick and Sarah worked and argued together on how to continuously provide support in the camp, fight off the rebels from stealing their supplies, work their way around the corrupt officials, and survive.
Nick and Sarah eventually fall in love as they both go through the hurdles of keeping the camp alive. However, they both know that her journey is temporary and will soon come to an end. Sarah needs to decide whether to go back to her life in London or commit herself as a relief worker and leave the life she knew in London.
I just had this thought after reading Jolie's book and I realized that this could have been a good direction. Imagine her eating with lights off, sleeping on a bed under a mosquito net, sleeping with shoes on ready to flee anytime, sleeping next to a knife to protect herself, etc., it gives us - as viewers - a look at the life of a relief worker through Sarah's transition to this new life that is so unfamiliar to her. Also, Sarah and Nick's love story could have had a better pacing. *sigh* 😞
I could write this fanfic, no? HAHAHAHA. *sigh* I really love Sarah and Nick. I fell in love with them first before I fell in love with Jolie and Owen. I think it's their chemistry???? Anyway, *big sigh*. 😤
