Sung Yun - 26 - Nabi, like any other sister, loves her brothers, but disagrees with their philosophy and often tries to persuade them into ‘seeing shadow for what it really is’ as she says. Yun is the calm, even-tempered twin, practicing what Nabi’s deduced to be shuriken mastery with a spirit of controlled flames empowering him. Yun repeatedly claims that if he sees Nabi on the battlefield, he will not hesitate to strike her down, but looking into his future, she sees that this may be a bluff, even a blatant lie- but she has yet to see where her path takes her. Yun’s right eye was struck in battle and blinded :)
Sung Sun - 26 - The hot-tempered, gung-ho twin. He outwardly claims, quite enthusiastically and loudly, that he’ll never hurt Nabi, no matter the circumstances, even if she were to condemn him to death herself, but looking into many of his futures, Nabi has seen that this is a lie. It depends on the path he takes, but in most… He breaks his word. She loves him, regardless- it is human nature to betray one’s family, in one way, in many- all she can do is wait patiently. From what Nabi has deducted, Sun is practicing kunai mastery with a spirit of rushing water empowering him.
Sung Beol - Deceased - (TW for implied assault) Caring, even-tempered, and wise beyond her years, Nabi hated seeing her vision and beauty quashed by their father. Beol practiced many forms of balance, learning the ways of the house, as well as the ways of battle, hoping to become a true jack of all trades, master of all. She was a prodigy among the Kinkou, but their philosophy prevented her from ever truly being acknowledged, as all people were equal, none to be elevated above anyone else. The Kinkou were attacked suddenly, in the night, and none of them were prepared for it- leading to Beol’s grisly death at the hands of a petty thieve’s guild. Nabi remembers her father weeping that they’d sullied her honor, in every way, and forbade Beol from being buried in the family tomb, with their mother and grandparents, as he claimed it would ‘taint’ it. Their father is wrong. This gave Nabi the hatred for her father that she has today.
Sung Minyu - 13 - (TW: Childbirth complications) Demure, always timid, hiding behind her brothers and sister, even her father, who holds a begrudging affection for her despite his ruthlessness. When she was born, sickly and weak from birth, their mother passed, and in his anger, their father took the newborn Minyu into his arms and tossed her into a river, believing she had cursed his wife to death with her birth. But somehow, despite being only a child at the time, Nabi knew something was amiss, and quickly rushed to the river, dragging Beol along to rescue Minyu. It was only then that their father allowed Minyu to live, and from then on, she’s been the only one he’s ever shown his true love and affection to. She’s spoiled by him with riches and silks and clothing, attempting to atone for her and expects her to join the Kinkou as well, when she is older. Nabi means to prevent that.
