What would Charlie do with the sinners who are beyond help?
Theories with Fizzie: What would happen to those beyond redemption?
Ok, so this is actually a really good question! Personally, I really think Charlie would want to believe that anyone is beyond help and she would end up holding onto hope and trying to help them until she realized that someone was actively trying to sabotage other residents of the hotel to keep them from bettering themselves and ultimately getting their own chance at redemption...... But I also don't like enforcing that type of naive little princess persona with her because while the princess is young and does want to see the best in every soul, sinner, and situation, Charlie is far from the picture of pure naivety that I've see people paint her as before. Does she want to believe that everyone is capable of changing for the better? Yes.... But does she also know that realistically she cannot save them all? Also yes. I think once she realizes that redemption is actually achievable and not just the pipe dream a lot of others have made it out to be, she will fight really hard for every sinner who wants to give it a shot.... But I also don't think she would stand for people coming into the hotel and essentially using it the way Angel was in the beginning because I think sinners coming into the hotel and just taking up space would take that space from someone who may genuinely want to put in the work, and it may end up making it more difficult for the hotel guests who are trying to not slip back into a space they've worked to get themselves out of (don't come for me, I do recognize and love the fact that while he may have started at the hotel just for a place to sleep away from his contract, he does genuinely value the hotel and all he's gained from it up till this point in the series..... But if we're real, Angel wasn't really big on the idea of redemption or betterment in the beginning and it shows.).
I think because of her friends (the main Hazbin Cast we've been introduced to so far), Charlie would try to overlook the fact that some people could be taking advantage of the hotel and what it's been created to do for a while because she would recognize that it did take everyone some time to truly come around to the idea of betterment, and she would want to give everyone a sort of grace period like that.... But I also believe that she would come around to putting some precautions eventually to try to weed out those who were serious about the program the hotel is trying to adapt. I do think that whatever she tried to put in place would be as gentle as possible, so something like a check-in application and then progress questionnaires every few weeks a soul stays checked in just to see whether or not the sinner in question is truly progressing/trying, and after a certain amount of time, those who don't seem to be showing any signs of even wanting to try would unfortunately be cut from the program and given a timeline on when they would be eligible to come back and possibly try again if/when they had a change of heart on the matter............... Now, that being said, I also think that Charlie would have one other way to deal with sinners who she truly believed to have absolutely zero chance of redemption...
With her overall gentle, caring nature, there are some things that I could see Charlie not letting fly at the hotel, the biggest one being the safety of others being put at risk unnecessarily (think how Alastor threatens Husk/how Valentino treats Angel). While people like this can be very charming and put on a very nice little show for those around them, I do think that Charlie would become very good at picking up on the energy they put out and the energy that they seem to take in from how uncomfortable they make those around them, and for people like that, I think she would eventually begin weeding out those who were truly incapable of redemption on levels like those and she would have a system in place that could also put the war between Heaven and Hell to rest for a while. Picture it.... A handwritten list of souls so cruel that the "inside every demon is a rainbow" advocate would be ok with the Exorcists coming down and eradicating them. Granted, I don't think this idea would be thrown out there by Charlie (I personally think this would be something Lucifer would actually end up half jokingly spit balling at some point), but I do think that Charlie would eventually use it as a bargaining chip with the council of Heaven to try to help break the tension after the battle that resulted in the deaths of many Heaven sent soldiers, as well as keeping the peace between the civilizations for a while at least.
The Y-7 Psychopath - Cowardice or Humility
Don't know if anybody cares about some juvenile "media analysis" from me, but why not, especially on a idea I had in my mind, and finally think it is prudent to put it out there, to see how people feel about it.
