In some more wild Finnish art and design news, The Beyond Store from Jyväskylä has designed a pair of shoes for Nike. Specifically a pair of Nike SB shoes. They will be distributed globally.
The design was inspired by the designs of architect Alvar Aalto, and has received approval from the Alavr Aalto foundation. The aim was to make a timeless design, following to the principles and stylistic choices of Aalto.
The shoes will be premiered in the Jyväskylä Beyond store on 8.7. and in helsinki on 11.7. After that, there will be global launch events.
