Oh, that’s a robot. A really intricate robot that’s staring at her. If only she had a portal gun right now. She is ready to book it first sign of movement.

Currently however they’re locked in a stare off, her body screaming for her to dash away, but her not saying a word as she waits to see what happens. WAs she just surrounded by robots? Was there nothing but robots around her? She prayed to god not, but she’d seen more bots than humans. || @beyond-use​

Such a long shadow had startled Amalie at first. She’d been about to round a corner, only to catch sight of the end of it in the lowering light. Expecting something closer to what she saw every day, she had balked for a moment before returning to her present charisma. Amalie is fairly good at controlling herself in the first place, so, hopefully, it wasn’t too visible. 

Taking a quick glance up to the sign, Amalie gives pause. The surname format for a business isn’t something exclusive to law firms, but it still plants the seeds of something more productive than wallowing in stress. 

“Say, do you frequent here often?” Amalie’s hands are behind their back, and they resist the urge to rock onto their toes to feel a bit bigger. “I was looking at the business signs around this area, and this one in particular grabbed my attention.” 

“I thought it was a law firm at first, quite honestly. But well, it didn’t seem quite right. It seemed safer to ask.”

“...Y’know, gonna have to mark this down as a new one.” He’s surprised it’s taken this long to see a giant.. robot? Android? He’s truthfully not sure what to call the other. Still, they seem sentient so it’d be rude to just gawk. As much as his scientific curiosity is beyond piqued. 

“Oh, uh-- sorry. I’m not normally this rude. Spider-Man.” Peter says, holding out his hand to the other. A bit awkward considering the other was over a story tall but, hey, he was raised to be polite.
