The Alpha Rune is part of the Map of Infinity, therefore created by Paradox. However, as far as I'm concerned, the Ledgerdomain dimension needs the Alpha Rune to stay stable. What was of it before the rune's creation? Did Paradox create a whole ass dimension to hide it?? If it existed before the Alpha Rune, how did it used to look like? Does Bezel have anything to do with it all besides his charms helping weakening the veil between realities??? Has he ever wielded the Alpha Rune?? Has Addwaitya ever met Paradox and/or Bezel????

on the hypothesis Paradox and Bezel having met I’m pretty sure Bezel finds Paradox a bit… annoying at times

i mean yeah they probably were well-acquainted at Bezel’s prime but now he wants nothing to do with magic bullshit or probably anything too otherworldly

however Paradox wants to keep him in check. It’s the most powerful magician in the universe, better see what’s up with him, so often he appears to Bezel

don’t get him wrong, Paradox’s company makes Bezel really happy, but he’s aware that at some point in the conversation Paradox will ask for his thoughts in some magic interdimensional matter. The card trick won’t keep Paradox busy

Paradox: i appreciate your kindness, Bezel, but i think you might want to know that your nation is at war

Bezel: Paradox you can wipe my dimension out already. Realocate the people to the Ledgerdomain, I don’t mind it and i’m pretty sure they won’t too

My Bezel headcanon is that he appreciates pretty much all of “mundane-magic”, which includes illusionism, but also cultural manifestations such as divination, superstitions and occultism in religion

As someone with almost unlimited power, he’s fascinated by mortals’ faith and creativity
