This doesn't count personal OCs, that'd be too easy, the character needs to be from media that a decent amount of people has seen/read/played
An example of a character I personally believe I might like more than anyone else on Earth is Laresa from Brave Frontier
She's one of hundreds of characters from a now-dead gacha game who was present in 0 story content, has two short paragraphs of lore to her name, and has only ever spoken 5 lines. Why do I like her so much? She's cool and inspired an OC of mine. Also I like her hat.
