8-BALL APPRECIATION/DISCUSSION POST!!
So as most bfb fans know and stuff 8-ball is overhated by most of the community.
This is just me talking about 8-ball rq. When bfb started I got glad that new characters were added and everything, though 8 ball had gotten eliminated early due to the hate he had gotten from the bfb community. I’m glad new characters like bottle, tree, taco, etc. Got arcs like the taco-book arc, death pact arc and stuff like that (I’m not saying that the characters were newly made they just got added to bfb) Though it made me disappointed when 8-ball got eliminated, I get that some people find him uninteresting and bland and that’s perfectly fine but I don’t get why he’s hated. In bfb 4 he he sucked a lot due to doing the opposite of what gb said and taking advantage of the “leader” role. At the end of that episode he made an apology to gb which was BARELY acknowledged or even remembered. I mean guys cmon give him a break he’s the only character with no limbs and he can’t float either (apart from roboty.) Wouldn’t it be a bit hard trying to help in the competitions for his team, I understand that characters who participated in bfdi and bfdia get more sympathy than newer characters but I find 8-ball genuinely interesting and I’m glad that he was featured again. I head canonically feel that 8-ball felt left out since he wanted to lift up the spirits of his team (as he mentioned.) He also mentioned that he thought he was being helpful to gb though everything he said was in a sarcastic tone. 8-ball may be misguided on how he wants to help out the team. He sadly had a painful elimination (it looked painful cause he was literally being squeezed.) I’m not saying 8-ball made the effort to help out his team, but I’m not saying he didn’t at the same time. I just think he didn’t bother trying since he thought he couldn’t. 8-ball also managed the team efficiently in bfb 1 which may or may have not boosted in confidence, ending up in him rushing into the “leadership” role. Seriously guys please give him a chance I KNOW he was kind of bad in some of the episodes but he just needs to learn some stuff. People were sympathetic to book when she apologized to taco, though I wish the same went for 8-ball.
