As much as getting back into my normal work routine of traveling often is kind of a total bummer (my new eating and exercise schedule works better at home and hotel rooms are gross), I was very grateful to be able to see and spend time with my co-workers in person and not just via conference call as usual.  Tonight I got to spend a little extra time catching up over dinner and drinks (well he drank and I watched enviously) with my bestie co-worker.  It was very nice to spend some outside of work, while not talking about work, time together.  Like I mentioned before, he has an incredible heart and is a very caring friend.  The conversation was nice, got deep and at times difficult and challenging but it all came from a great place of love.  And for me having more adult conversations is always a good thing as I usually tend to run the other way when it comes to talking about important life stuff – but I am getting better.  Anyway, today I am grateful that I was able to spend some nice quality time with my bestie co-worker and dear friend.
