Kantori Yakitori
BF Homes in the south has always been our hangout place for my college besties and I. Whether its planned or just an after work meet up, a catch up on life stories and personal updates over good food has been the usual set up. When in search of finding good food on a fairly tight budget is not the hardest thing to do especially when you have the OpenSnap, especially in BF Homes where streets are lined with a sprawling assortment of restaurants that offer meals depending on how much you’re willing to spend for your grub.
We chose Kantori Yakitori a new chillout place down south with its concept of having its Japanese style of grilling called “Yakitori”. Clean, artistic wall art, colorful menu on chalkboards and very accommodating staff are just few things we like about the place.
Yummysoba is what I like the most. I love the unpretentious yummy taste of this dish, definitely a must try! For sure you’ll order two of this just like what we did, not just the ordinary stir fry noodle dish. They also have sumptuous yakitoris, yakimonos, and even combinations in platter.
Sushi Fireballs (nori and japanese mayo with caviar), Hato (chicken heart grilled calamansi and tare).
Yummytori Platter (breast, thigh, meatball, intestines and because wings are not available we chose tofu tempura as an alternative)
We also love their beer cocktails concoctions like their famous Beerkada Beergarita which is good for two (a combination of Japanese Asahi Beer, tequila, lime and syrup) Some of my friends also tried their Kantori Bomb wherein you have to say ichi?ni?san?banzaiii!!! then tap the table for the sake shot in between the chopsticks to fall on the glass before you drink it.
Kantori Yakitori definitely gives a unique enjoyable style of japanese dining. The concept is cool and food are simply delicious. Such a recommended hangout place in the south.
