So, you know when this happens...
Doctor number 12 and his companion strode quickly and quietly through London. It was dark, and there was no-one around. They were on the trail of something, the insistent noise of the screwdriver was proof of that, but neither of them knew what the hell it was. So they continued walking as through with a purpose, letting the sonic lead them to whatever it was.
Suddenly the bleeping went up a notch. The doctor threw himself against the cold brick wall, and pulled his companion back too. "It's a blind corner," he breathed "never, ever, trust a blind corner."
He raised one hand, and counted down on his fingers.
"Three,"
"Two,"
One!"
They rounded the corner. Unfortunately, so did two others, at exactly the same time. The doctor picked himself up, pointed his sonic screwdriver out towards them, and stared. They stared back.
"I'm the doctor;" he said "I'm looking for something."
"We're the Goth Detectives;" one man replied "And so are we...."
