Adjusting his mask, Edward cleared his throat and stepped through the doors to the ballroom. With a nod pointed at the help that had been hired on, he couldn't help but let his eyes take in the wonder that had become the main stage for the party over the past two weeks. He was pretty impressed with his plant placement, though he wouldn't have minded a bit more here and there. He had the grounds done well enough, at least. Picking up a glass of some amber liquid, he moved through the crowd, his eyes already scanning for the familiar figure. He'd been turned down as her arm for the night, instead sent alone to find her like a true masquerade was supposed to be preformed. A game of sorts. He could do that. He had to, either way. Stepping up to the bar, he sipped his drink and took a seat.
"We all really outdid ourselves, didn't we?" he asked his neighbor, smirking as he glanced over. "I particularly like the chandelier."
