also astarion is still hanging around even though we did not engage with yurgir (dannath triggered combat but ran, maybe the game counted that?) plus mizora won't get off my dick and frankly i am kind of wishing i had exploded her (and wyll) in the illithid colony + kind of bummed i didn't get a confrontation with astarion about All That because now they're just like, Around, At Camp, and curey is staunchly avoiding eye contact, making me feel guilty... undecided about karlach cause i know i'll romance her on wennefair and idk if curey would let her go beast mode on gortash. on the one hand yeah they do need to kill him, on the other hand (curey voice) ummm if you enjoy it you are just as bad. i love her because i made her but damn she's kind of a sanctimonious prick
something im finding out about curey is. she and gale both have a very similar and complementary sense of self-importance. for gale it is full on grandiosity, but curey is a bit humbler, at least at face value. she is very. mmm. quietly self-righteous. set in her ways. focused on the big bad evil guy, to the potential detriment of others who still need help. i don't think she'd let gale ascend to godhood... but who knows... maybe she will think they've earned it by the time they beat the netherbrain

update 2 curey playthrough. lost shadowheart obviously. grabbed a hireling for paladin replacement. hc they saved her from moonrise towers like you can with minthara :) she is a bt3 seldarine drow named ssaphyrr and i love her. scary dog energy. lowkey trying to convince curey to dump gale cause ssaph just hates his vibes
i can tell i'm really hitting the lamentable grind part of the game cause i keep going "well what if i just did a LITTLE bit on another playthrough" sir that is your avoidance talking. just keep blasting through moonrise and the catacombs and the illithid colony and the avatar of myrkul and the astral plane like it's literally fiiiiiiiiiinneee
