I think the funniest thing about halfling Barbarian in BG3 is that we have these causal intimidation checks mixed in with: By golly you sure that’s a good idea sweetie?

Fits Robin who is a complete sweetheart but also ran with a gang after leaving the forest she grew up in. Her two modes are sunshine and buttercups of I will beat you bloody.

My halfling barbarian was hit on by Lae’zel out of NOWHERE given I thought she hated me since Robin is a happy and cheerful goody-two shoes helping everyone. But nope, after killing the Ogers, she just went: hey wanna bang?

Robin, given she had no romance so far and I wasn’t sure who, went: okay!

And now I’m romancing Lae’zel and damn. Okay this is really cool and now I’ve decided Robin is 100% not sure how this happened but she’s sure as hell happy to be here.

10/10 Larian. I love this and I’ve only had one scene.

Thank you @raysoffrost for the hair mod to give Robin her look! She looks much more like the loving and cheerful Barbarian then before!

Especially after kicking her girlfriend's ass to prove they are perfect together.

I love it when characters give me a driving force for them.

Robin, my happy barbarian who is chill with following, has just informed me as I think about her that the story she follows herself in BG3 is one where she learns to be a leader. And she’s good at it. In the first act I played as someone who kind of agreed with anything people said and somehow she found herself as a leader of this group. Her first actual choice in picking her own path was with Karlach because she saw those memories and believed the other woman.

And Robin feels awful for Wyll but she also feels happy she saved a life. And now as time goes on Robin is getting more secure. She looks back on her time with the gang and recognizes that she had been very submissive to them, very much someone willing to let things happen even if she didn’t agree.

Now Robin is taking her steps as herself. And I love it.

Robin backstory cause I can: Robin is a Strongheart Halfling who is a Wild Magic Barbarian. She was born to a couple named Daisy and Thornbor. As a baby oddball things happened around her. The couple became scared, eventually they decided that Robin had to be a changeling or something, so when she was a year old they left her in a forest.

In the forest was a Druid who mostly took animal shape and rarely assumed his elf form. He found the baby and couldn’t let the kid die. So he sort of raised Robin. In reality he did the bare minimum but taught her to talk, hunt and all that. He knew she had wild magic abilities but didn’t care to teach her magic, instead letting her figure things out. This is how she became a barbarian. She did learn to harness her magic for fighting in the end!

Robin grew up in the Forest until she was twenty-five when she met a gang who used part of the Forest to stash things. There she made her first real friends, Fidget and Mollyanne. She left the Forest with them and joined the gang, though after a few years the three left because their group was getting to big and Mollyanne didn’t quite like the man they were working for, a Gortash.

It’s then the Illithids caught them.
