Hope you had a restful Thursday 💛 As an independent artist and small biz owner, the idea of capitalism after a day of mourning is really complicated because according to some it’s unwise to not take part in the discount frenzy. Every year I reevaluate my participation that make sense to me and to a point where it still aligns with my values. It’s already a huge burnt out working shows after shows every weekend since the start of November to makeup for the lost of income due to COVID. So why be another #blackfridaysales pitch in your overflowing inboxes and feed? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I want you to know that BGG is still here if you need to get a gift, but I’m bloody aware to not promote overconsumption of things we don’t need.
