BGLI was a surprisingly great experience

In the beginning, I only went because no one else wanted to go.

But it really opened my eyes to the Greek community as a whole. I barely knew the acronyms for each of the four councils - IFC, PHA, NPHC, and MCGC -  prior to attending BGLI.

The whole point of BGLI was to basically build leadership within each participating chapter by inspiring one representative, and to push representatives into networking with each other.

I got to meet a lot of people, and I really hope we as a chapter not only get closer to other MCGC organizations, but to other Greek organizations outside of MCGC also. As social chair, I have decided my main focus is to help break down barriers between the four councils and create a more cohesive Greek community.
