BGMI (PUBG) Game Banned In India?
According to NEWS DESHYA and media sources, This shocking news has come forward for BGMI players in India, On 28th July 2022, BGMI (Battle Grounds Mobile India) has been removed from Google Play Store or Apple App Store. So, BGMI game lovers will not be able to download from the play store and app store.
The government has decided to ban it. Now, according to reports, Krafton will be holding meetings with the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) tomorrow to discuss the BGMI ban.
BGMI is one of the most popular online battleground mobile games. The Game was released on 2 July 2021 for Android devices and on 18 August 2021 for iOS devices.
Actually! BGMI game is this copy and the new version of the PUBG (Player Unknown's Battlegrounds) Mobile game. PUBG was banned by the Indian Government on September 2, 2020, due to cyber security in India along with 117 other Chinese apps. So, PUBG developer, South Korean company Kraftons created BGMI (Battle Grounds Mobile India) game for the Indian gaming community.
Why Was BGMI Removed From Play Store And APP Store?
In India, the buggy game has been mysteriously removed from the Google Play Store and Apple App. However, it is not yet confirmed whether the BGMI game is completely banned in India or not.

According to reports, Krafton has said that it is looking into the matter. The company told tech website BGR India, “We are clarifying how BGMI was removed from Google Play store and the App store and will let you know once we get specific information.”
Big Reasons To Remove BGMI Game In India
According to News Deshya, the PUBG game was banned in India due to cyber security, but due to some sensational news from India, the BGMI game may have been removed.
Or it may be that BGMI has violated any policy of Google and Apple, due to which it has been removed from Play and App Store. However, it can still be downloaded on Android from a third-party APK website, but it cannot be downloaded in any way on iPhone.
The sudden disappearance of BGMI from the App Store and Play Store also raises many questions, because its issue had also cropped up in the Rajya Sabha recently.
Recently in the Rajya Sabha held on 22 July, Members of Parliament were discussing whether action games have harmful effects on children. The Upper House was discussing a media report which said that "the child killed his mother while playing a PUBG game". The incident happened in Lucknow last month.
According to PTI, Union Minister Rajiv Chandrashekhar on July 22 said that law enforcement agencies are probing the matter. The minister also assured that its previous version, PUBG Mobile, is banned in India from 2020.
Meanwhile, a company representative told India Today Tech, "We are clarifying how BGMI was removed from the Google Play store and App Store and will let you know once we get specifics".
A Google spokesperson also told India Today Tech, "Upon receipt of the order, following established procedure, we have notified the affected developer and blocked access to the app available on the Play Store in India".
