Finally found subbed episodes of the original Terrace House series  Boys × Girls Next Door.

Watching mainly for the queen of Terrace House Seina. Love her! The other house mates are not as interesting so far.

It is so weird watching the show without the host panel popping in to share their feelings.. looking forward to them showing up later in the season. It really improved the show overall. I need to know who  Yama-chan thinks is secretly evil!

So I am finally up to the episodes where the full host panel are involved and it really changes the show for the better. Those car driving scenes were just weird.

I am still 100% here for Siena, but I have also grown to love Hana

and the wonderfully strange Oji-sama!

Ser pai, não é seguir cada passo que o filho dá com a intenção de controlar, mas sim de acompanhar. Querer saber todas as coisas que se passam com os filhos, para repreendê-los ao menor deslize, acaba sufocando-os de tal maneira que os afastam sem que os pais sequer percebam. É natural que o pai queira que o filho seja o melhor em tudo, mas tem de se levar em conta se o filho tem ou não aptidões para isso. O orgulho de pai não pode estar acima de tudo. O papel dos pais deve ser no sentido de prepará-los para a vida, inclusive, permitindo que corram riscos. Um filho não é um bem material. Os pais devem apoiar, ensinar, orientar, mas nunca viver a vida dos filhos. Só assim estes poderão se tornar adultos equilibrados. Tenho visto que pais controladores e obsessivos só fazem com que os filhos sejam covardes e submissos. Esses pais que evitam até que seus filhos respirem sem a devida assistência, os prejudicam de modo a torná-los infelizes, inseguros, com fraca autoestima e autoconfiança. Além de desencadear outros fatores que posso afirmar com experiência de causa: ansiedade e stress. É paradoxal que um ser tão controlador mantenha suas atenções, em termos de tempo e dedicação, sempre concentradas fora de casa: no trabalho, na faculdade ou em viagens. Não tenho dúvidas de que esse controle excessivo é motivado pela culpa devido às longas horas longe da família. Duvido, que algum dia sequer, tenha parado pra pensar que tipo de pai é, que tipo de problemas realmente existem, quais foram suas origens e o mais importante: Qual foi a sua parcela de culpa? Se ao menos se utilizasse do bom senso, saberia o mal que causou ao se assumir como dono dos filhos.
